ICAI CA Exam Centres, State/City wise Exam Centres List

The Chartered Accountants of India carries out CA exams in a vast network of exam centres so that students in different cities and even abroad are able to appear for the examination. In the year 2026, the CA exam will be held in above 297 cities in India as well as nine centres overseas.

Students have the option of selecting an exam city when applying for the September 2026 attempt through the ICAI website portal. The final allocation of centres for appearing for the examination will be done by considering the availability of the centres as well as the preferences given by students.

Some states such as Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Karnataka provide students with multiple options for the selection of exam centres. At the same time, some small states such as Nagaland (Dimapur) and Sikkim (Gangtok) also feature on the list. Students are encouraged to visit the official ICAI website in order to have a look at the complete list of exam centres.

In addition to the exam cities in India, ICAI will conduct the exam for the month of September 2026 in other countries. NRIs, PIOs, and foreigners may choose one among the following cities:

Important Points for Exam Centres of CA

• Securing your exam centre depends on your present location and convenience. 
• Changing your allotted centre is possible only during the correction period.
• Once the admit card is released, there is no scope for changing your exam centre.  
• ICAI will alter the allocated centres, and candidates will be notified in advance.  
• Candidates must follow all instructions stated on the admit card. 
• The use of electronic equipment such as mobile phones, smartwatches, tablets, and calculators is strictly prohibited.  
• Blue or black ballpoint pens are permitted inside the exam centre.
