Get registered as soon as possible in the CS Executive stage on or before November 30, 2021, to appear in all courses in the examinations in June 2023.
To be considered for admission to the ICSI CS Executive Program, you must complete an online application. For registration as a Company Secretary (CS) Executive for the month of June 2023, there is no physical form available.
The CS Executive programme can be registered online through the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) in order to take the test in June 2023.
The second level of an ICSI course is called the CS Executive Programme. CSEET is the first level, while CS Professional Programme is the last or final level.
The CS Executive test is held twice a year by ICSI, in June and December. However, enrolment in the CS Executive programme is offered all year long. There are two ways to sign up for the CS Executive Program course: the direct path and the CSEET route.
ICSI Executive Programme Admission 2023
Only six months are allotted for the executive course. Therefore, nine months prior to the June/Dec Examination for all papers, the ICSI accepts applications for admission to the Executive Program.
You will be able to take any one module of the CS Executive test, nevertheless, if you register before the four-month registration deadline for the June/Dec exams.
With effect from February 2020, all student categories will need to take the CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET), which is a requirement for enrolment in the CS Executive Program.
However, if you come under one of the candidates who are excluded from enrollment, you may register for the executive course directly.
CS Executive Exemptions
Candidates who have successfully completed the CS Foundation Programme are exempt from the CSEET and do not need to pay an exemption fee.
Candidates who have successfully completed the final exams of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and/or The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) are exempt from the CSEET and must pay 5000 as an exemption fee at the time of registration for the CS Executive Program.
Note that neither graduates nor postgraduates have received an exemption. In order to be eligible for enrolment in the Executive Program, they must also pass the CSEET.
ICSI Executive Registration Last Date
If you register for the Executive Program between December 1, 2022, and January 31, 2023, you can only take one module for the Executive Program test in June 2023.
To appear in both modules of the CS Executive June 2023 term of examination, register on or before November 30, 2022. Candidates who have passed the CSEET can register online until November 30, 2022, in order to take the exams for both Executive course Modules.
You would be qualified to appear in all groups of the Executive Program examination to be held in June 2023 if you passed the CSEET in November 2022 and registered for the programme up to and including November 30, 2022.
Register for the CS Executive programme no later than six months before the exam for all modules and no later than four months for a single module. As a result, the deadline for CS Executive registration is 30.11.2022 for those who plan to participate in both modules and 31.01.2023 for those who choose to appear in just one of the Executive level exams, which will be place in June 2023.
Validity of the CSEET Exam
The CSEET Pass is valid for one year. This means that the CS Executive enrolment date and the CSEET result date cannot be more than a year apart.
For instance, if your CSEET result was reported as passing on November 21, 2022, you must enrol in the CS Executive course by November 20, 2023, at the latest. After that, in order to register for the CS Executive Program, you must pass the CSEET exam yet again.
ICSI Executive Registration Fees
The cost of admission for the CS Executive course varies depending on how you register. For applicants who have passed the CSEET, the registration price is ₹10,600 ; for CA/CMA candidates, it is ₹15,600.
The registration fee for the Executive Program is to be paid online using a credit card, debit card, net banking, or bank challan.
Students who fall under the SC/ST Category are only needed to pay 50% of the general category students’ registration cost for the CS Executive programme.
- In case of CSEET passed
The CS Executive Program fee is divided into the following categories for CSEET-passed candidates:

Students who have passed the ICSI CSEET will sign up for the CS Executive Program after logging into their CSEET Account on the SMASH site. Simply enroll for the CS Executive course at the official website smash.icsi.in.

ICSI CS Executive Registration Process for June 2023
The registration process for CSEET passed students is as follows:
- Step 1 (Smash Portal): Go to the official website, icsi.edu, and click on Registration for CSEET passed students in Executive Programme under Online Services.
- Step 2 (Registration): Make sure you have a softcopy of the required documents before beginning the registration process. The documents are mentioned below:
- Photograph of the student
- Signature of the student
- DOB Certificate (10th pass certificate)
- Qualification Certificate (12th Marksheet or CSEET Pass Certificate)
- Category certificate (Other than general)
- Identity proof (Aadhaar Card/Passport/Voter ID /Pan Card/Driving License/Ration Card)

Maximum allowed file size is 2 MBs.
File size of student photo should be between 20kb to 50kb.

- Step 3 (Detail): At this point, you must provide the CSEET Roll Number and the CSEET Unique Number. After entering the verification code that appears on the screen, click the submit button.
- Step 4 (Basic Detail): Complete the basic information for a new registration. After passing CSEET, finish up any pending registration for the CS Executive Course. Basic information comprises the programme you apply for, your education, your name, etc.
- Step 5 (Request ID): After writing down your request ID for future use, click the next button. Your request ID will be sent to the email address you have on file, and an SMS will be sent to the registered mobile number.
- Step 6 (Education detail): Complete your qualifying information and that of your parents, then click the next button.
- Step 7 (Information Source): Fill out the Information Source field, select “Classroom Teaching Centers” (Yes/No), and then press the Next button. If you deselect the option to get the Chartered Secretary ICSI monthly Journal, your due amount is decreased by 500.
- Step 8 (Documents): Upload the necessary paperwork, a recent coloured photo, and your signature.
- Step 9 (Preview): View all of your information in the preview window, then click the “Confirm Application” button on the display.
- Step 10 (Payment mode): The many payment alternatives, including Billdesk, Axis Bank, and Kotak Bank, will be displayed. Billdesk offers the ability to pay using a credit card, an ATM card, online banking, and wallets, among other methods.
Axis and Kotak banks provides option to pay through your Credit Card and Debit Card only.
- Step 11 (Transaction ID): You may see the request ID and transaction ID on the screen. For future use, you must keep a record of the request and transaction id.
- Step 12(Registration complete): You will be registered in the ICSI CS Executive Program upon successful payment. You will receive notification from CS Institute via email and text message (SMS) on the registered email address and mobile number.
