What is the ICSI Three-Day Orientation Program? Complete Overview –

ICSI Three-Day Orientation Program Schedule: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India has released the confirmed schedule for the Three-Day Orientation program for the months of January to March 2026. This is the first step into the new training structure.

All students who get enrolled for the CS Executive program are required to attend this program compulsorily. The aim of the orientation is to create a basic level of awareness on the subject of professional ethics, business communication, and the Company Secretary’s role in the corporate sector. What is the benefit of ICSI Three-Day Orientation Program?

ICSI Three-Day Orientation Program (TDOP) or ICSI Orientation 2025: An orientation program specifically aimed to help students who get admitted under the CS Executive level. The Program is intended to prepare the candidates for professional life in future in the following ways:

• Training them on the curriculum and training framework

• To create awareness in them of the ethical and professional requirements of a Company Secretary

• Exposure to expert practitioners and learning facilitators

It forms a part of the complete Company Secretary Trainingprogram and plays an integral role in training the students to be equipped with elementary skills and an awakened attitude towards their profession.    

It enables one to enhance soft skills, such as public speaking, team working, and time management.

It is part of the overall Company Secretary Training program and has a crucial role to play in preparing students with fundamental skills and an awakened perspective towards their career.

How to Register for the TDOP – process to register

Students can fill their ICSI ODOP Registration form either from the official websites of the concerned Regional Councils/Chapters themselves. The procedure of registering for the ODOP initials involves:

1. Signing in through your ICSI account.

2. Selecting the closest Regional Centre or Chapter.

3. “Checking the date of the program and availability.” According to this item,

FAQ’S

1. Is the Three-Day Orientation Programme (TDOP) compulsory for CS Executive students?

Well, yes. The TDOP is mandatory for all participants in the CS Executive Programme consisting of the new ICSI training format. This is mandatory training before participants are allowed to undertake further training levels.

2. Is the TDOP done online or offline?

TDOP is done in offline mode in ICSI Regional Councils and Chapters. But the manner of delivery may change as per ICSI guidelines, if any change is intimated through an official announcement.

3. When should a student register for TDOP?

Students are advised to complete registration within 3 months of registration in executive programme registering on or after January 2026.
