What is CSEET?
“ICSI CSEET is the qualifying entrance test for registration to the CS Executive Programme” conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. This test is conducted 4 times in a year, mostly in the months of January, May, July & November. It’s a national level examination. The language of the examination is English and the purpose of conducting this exam is to train and certify the candidates who aspire to become Company Secretaries.
This time the examination was scheduled on 08th Jan 2022. Considering the ongoing Pandemic, the mode of conduct of the entrance test was changed from test centres to Remote/ Online Mode. The CSEET was conducted through REMOTE Proctored Mode instead of conducting through test centres. This time approx. 2 lac students appeared for this examination.
Once the examination is over various experts start discussions and deliberating upon the possibilities of the answers. But the formal answer sheet is released by the Institute of Companies Secretaries of India.
Answer Sheet Analysis
- Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) was consisting 120 questions
- Total marks of CSEET was 170(Maximum marks for the entrance examination)
- Multiple Choice Questions are part of this question paper
- To attempt all 200 questions, candidates were given total of 120 minutes
Prior to COVID times, the CSEET was to be conducted including following-
- Computer based test of 120 minutes consisting of various questions
- Viva Voce of 15 mins on Presentation and Communication Skills
But after that the requirement of Viva Voce has been done away with. The new break up for computer based CSEET in MCQ pattern of 120 minutes would be as under

CSEET Answer Key 2022
The answer key will be shortly available at the official website of the Institute of Companies Secretaries of India. The format of the answer key will be PDF and the same can be downloaded.
The purpose of sharing the answer key by the Institute is to facilitate the students to check and confirm their answers. They can also estimate their scores accordingly.
Whether the students can challenge the Answer Key released by the Institute?
Yes, the students can challenge the answer key released by the Institute. But the only condition is that it can be challenged if the students finds one or more incorrect answers.
Steps on how to Download ICSI CS Exam Key 2022 in the pdf format-
- The student will visit the official website of the Institute i.e. www.icsi.edu
- The ICSI CS Executive Answer key link is located at the top of the home page
- The student is required to put his registration number and password in the portal
- After that an option appearing as “Submit Button” will appear which is required to be clicked by him.
- Once you submit all the details as mentioned above, the ICSI Exam key will appear on the screen.
- The student can take print out of the same and can keep for the reference purpose for the future.
