The ICSI has come up with the CS Professional 2024 syllabus. The candidates who are going to appear for the next term of ICSI CS Professional examination must verify the latest syllabus. Earlier, ICSI released the ICSI CS Professional new syllabus (under 2022).
Candidates can choose to switch from old syllabus under 2017 to new syllabus under 2022. The first examination under ICSI CS Professional new syllabus 2024 was conducted in June 2024. The final examination under ICSI CS Professional old syllabus will be conducted in June 2025.
For those who joined the ICSI CS Professional program before 2017, you can choose to migrate to the new syllabus from the year 2022.
As with the case of the Executive program, ensure that you are aware of the changes in syllabus and exemptions for each paper in case you transfer. The first examination for the ICSI CS Executive under the new syllabus was held in June 2024.
ICSI lays down the curriculum for Executive and Professional programmes. Prospective examinees for these exams should refresh their memory on the important topics. The new CS syllabus comprises the Online Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET), Executive programme, and Professional programme.

How to Apply for ICSI CS Professional New Syllabus 2024 Switchover?
To apply for ICSI CS Professional syllabus switchover from old to new syllabus, candidates can follow the steps mentioned below:
- Step 1- Go to the official link given- icsi.edu
- Step 2- Now click on the ‘online services’ tab
- Step 3- Now click on “Professional Student Login and enter the login credentials
- Step 4- Now click on Module>Switch over>Apply for switchover
- Step 5- Student request screen will appear
- Step 6- Enter the details as prescribed
- Step 7- Check the details entered
Note- Candidates will not be required to pay any fee for switchover.
