The new structure for the reconstituted CSEET (effective from June 2026) is now officially announced by ICSI.
Under the revised pattern, the examination will be held over four days, covering four papers, with three papers being subjective and one paper conducted in OMR format.
This change has been introduced to strengthen conceptual clarity, analytical ability and overall readiness of students entering the CS Executive Programme.
But the real question is—are we prepared for this new format?
CSEET continues to be one of the most crucial entry-level examinations for aspiring Company Secretaries. With the introduction of a more comprehensive structure, students will now need a deeper understanding of concepts, clear writing ability, and consistent practice.
To succeed, especially in the first attempt, students must plan their preparation with proper strategy, disciplined study routines, and timely revisions. With the right approach, the new CSEET pattern is absolutely manageable and can be cleared confidently.
